Instruments for medical diagnostics
DIBTA (Delta Isotope Breath Test Analyser)
The DIBTA (16 ports) determines the isotope ratio of the stable 13C / 12C of CO2 in human breath with a precision of δ = ±0,1 ‰ (delta per mille) and is supplied with a software to evaluate all commonly known 13C breath tests. Newly developed tests can be defined, too.
Breath tests
- Helicobacter Pylori with 13C-Urea
- Gastric emptying solid with 13C-Octanoic Acic
- Gastric emptying liquid with 13C-Sodium Acetate
- Liverfuncion with 13C- Methacetine/Aminopyrine/Methionine/Sodium Octanoate
- Pancreas Function with 13C-MTG
- Lactose with 13C-Lactose
- Fructose with 13C-6-D-Fructose
- Corn Starch with 13C-Amylase

HP-DIBTA (Helicobacter Pylori - Delta Isotope Breath Test Analyser)
The HP_DIBTA (4 ports) determines the isotope ratio of the stable 13C / 12C of CO2 in human breath with a precision of δ = ±0,8 ‰ (delta per mille) and is supplied with a software to evaluate only H. Pylori 13C breath tests. Newly developed tests can be defined, too.
Breath tests
- Helicobacter Pylori with 13C-Urea
DELTA ASX 7200 AUTOSAMPLER / HP-DIBTA (Helicobacter Pylori - Delta Isotope Breath Test Analyser)
The DELTA ASX 7200 AUTOSAMPLER is available together with the DIBTA NDIR Gas Analyzer for determination of stable isotope 13C / 12C of CO2 from breath gas. The sample rack fits up to 120 EXETAINER / VACUTAINER tubes.
Breath tests
- Helicobacter Pylori with 13C-Urea
Both, DIBTA and HP-DIBTA, are controlled by a platform independent software running on Windows, Apple Macintosh or Linux operating systems and communicates with the hardware via LAN.
